Who doesn’t love white teeth??

Timeless Quest for a Brighter Smile

Dreaming of whiter teeth? You’re not alone! Studies show that nearly 80% of people desire a brighter, more radiant smile. A luminous set of teeth doesn’t just boost confidence — it enhances youthfulness, energy, and overall appeal. Our fascination with a dazzling smile isn’t new; in fact, it dates back thousands of years.

In the Beginning

The ancient Egyptians — pioneers in beauty, medicine, and innovation — were also among the first to chase the dream of a whiter smile. In their culture, appearance symbolized status, health, and vitality, and a bright smile was seen as a mark of beauty, wealth, and desirability. To achieve that coveted glow, they crafted a whitening paste from ground pumice stone, wine vinegar, and even powdered oxen hooves. Historical records even reveal a surprising ingredient: urine, valued for its ammonia content — a natural bleaching agent. While their methods might make us cringe today, their dedication to achieving the perfect smile laid the foundation for modern teeth whitening practices.

Now there is LED Teeth Whitening…

What is it & how does it work?
Our Pure Image whitening products work with a peroxide base cured under blue LED light to lighten and brighten your smile up to 5 shades per treatment.

Does it hurt?
While some may experience a slight tingling or sensitivity in their teeth during treatment, the service is surprisingly comfortable, and many patients fall asleep while the light is curing. We keep you cozy with the option of blankets and a comfy pillow so you can use this time to unwind and relax instead of feeling like you’re at the dentist!

How long is the treatment?
The treatment is approximately an hour in total, during which you will take a break to rinse and stretch your legs about halfway through, if needed.

Can I eat and drink afterwards?
You can drink water straight away after treatment, and you can eat an hour afterwards. Unfortunately, coffee, tea, red wine, etc, must be avoided for 24 hours to ensure the pores of the teeth close back up fully before exposing them to any staining food or drinks. But 24 hours later, you are back to your usual routine.

How often do I come for whitening?
Whitening is recommended every 6-8 months, so approximately twice per year. This ensures we stay on top of any surface staining that builds throughout the course of the year. We also have a selection of great products for home use to maintain your work on your smile.

How to Maintain a Radiant Smile
While professional teeth whitening remains the fastest way to achieve a dazzling smile, there are several simple habits that can help you preserve your results and prevent discoloration:

  • Stick to a consistent daily oral care routine

  • Limit dark-colored beverages like coffee, tea, and red wine

  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day

  • Schedule regular dental checkups and cleanings every six months

Teeth whitening has evolved tremendously—today’s advanced treatments offer brighter, longer-lasting results than ever before, helping you keep your smile luminous and confident!
