What are Hair Transformations?
Skin Rejuvenation is a form of cosmetic injectable that accelerates your body’s production of collagen and elastin. Plasma is the liquid portion of the blood composed mostly of water and proteins. Platelets play a key role in the body’s natural healing process by using the plasma to circulate through the body. When injected back into the skin, it releases your custom growth factor formula accelerating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin and hair rejuvenation. Each treatment is naturally optimized to be biocompatible.
How does it work?
We start by applying a numbing topical anesthetic to the treatment area. Then our Medical team will draw a small sample of blood that is spun in a special machine called a centrifuge. This process separates the bloods cells and the platelets. The plasma that is collected is then injected into the treatment area, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin triggering the healing properties.

Skin Rejuvenation (aka Vampire Facial) can be performed on any area of the body with skin that is starting to lose elasticity and volume as it stimulates new healthier and younger looking skin. Hair Rejuvenation has several benefits including improving and reinforcing existing hair along with stimulating the growth of new strands. Hair Rejuvenation therapy is a proactive treatment for males and females experiencing hair loss. This treatment uses your plasma to naturally stimulate the development of new hair follicles while improving the health of existing hair follicles. For best results it is recommended to have 3-6 treatments done optimally 4 weeks apart.
Is it safe?
Yes, Skin Rejuvenation is a very safe injectable treatment that has been used in hospitals and in sports medicine for its healing and regenerating properties since the 1970s. You can have your treatment done in about 20 minutes or so with little to no downtime, so you can get back to regular activities immediately afterward.
How many treatments will I need and when will I see results?
Although you will experience results from just first treatment the most optimal and longer-term results can be seen from a series of 3-6 treatments. Noticeable improvement can be seen a couple of days after your first treatment however the treatment area will continue to improve up to 3 months after your last treatment.
Although results may vary, most results last from 1-4 years. Proper skin care and maintenance treatments have been shown to extend the life of your results.

Do I need to prepare for my medical injectable treatment?
Clients are encouraged to come with a clean washed face, however it is not necessary as the skin is cleaned prior to an injection.
Are there any risks associated with medical injectables?
Some clients experience swelling at the injection site, tenderness and bruising. It is best to adhere to the instructions that are provided by the Injector.
Is there any downtime with using Neuromodulators?
Downtime can vary based on person and procedure. All medical treatments performed at Ottawa MediSPA occur under the supervision of a licensed Medical Physician, from consultation to completion. Is there any downtime with Sclerotherapy?
There is no downtime with Sclerotherapy treatments. In the first few days itching, bruising, aching, redness and swelling are common. Most of these symptoms resolve spontaneously. Most clients will require 3-8 treatments.
Is there any downtime with Belkyra™ Lipolysis Injection?
Downtime and recovery are entirely based on the person and procedure. Is there any downtime with Mesotherapy?
Some clients may experience tenderness to the injection site and possible bruising and goosebumps which may last up to three days. Clients may require 1-3 treatments for optimal results. Clients might feel a slight burning sensation or a slight pinching when the injections are administered. Hot showers should be avoided for eight hours after treatment. Your Injector will advise you of your recovery time and aftercare.
